Changan UNI-K made its world premiere

IIA learned from Changan that UNI-K made its global debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show today. The appearance of the new car continues the borderless grille design, the rear adopts the more popular through-type taillights, and adopts the appearance design of a coupe SUV. In addition, the car is positioned as a medium and large SUV. It is reported that the new car will be officially launched in the first half of next year, and the price may exceed 180,000 yuan.

In terms of appearance, the new car continues the borderless air intake grille design. The hexagonal chamfers gather from the sides to the middle LOGO. This design will become an iconic element in Changan's design in the future. UNI-K's sharp headlights are designed with multiple light groups surrounding the main light. The daytime running lights will be designed under the front bumper. The trident shape of the starship's wings is integrated into it, making the new car highly recognizable.

On the side of the body, the new car adopts a simple design style, with 21-inch wheels forming a strong visual contrast, which is extremely impactful and highlighted. In terms of body size, the UNI-K is 4,865mm, 1,948mm, and 1,700mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2,890mm.

In the rear part of the car, the UNI-K taillight adopts the current popular through-type design, with irregular geometric patterns embellished, full of technological sense. The tail spoiler is inspired by aerospace vehicles and is also one of the super symbols to undertake the Vision V concept car. In terms of power, this car is equipped with a new generation of Blue Whale 2.0T engine, matching a new generation of Aisin 8AT transmission and four-wheel drive system.
