Recently, the Geely-owned premium EV brand Zeekr has unveiled the official MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) registration images of its new plug-in hybrid SUV, the Zeekr 8X. The vehicle carries forward Zeekr’s signature design language, featuring a vertical-slat grille and split headlights at the front, complemented by distinctive C-shaped daytime running lights for high visual recognition. A blacked-out sporty package will be available as an option. Measuring 5,100 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,069 mm, the Zeekr 8X is slightly smaller than the Zeekr 9X. It will be offered in both five-seat and six-seat configurations. At the rear, it features a full-width light bar and a roof-mounted spoiler to enhance its sporty character. Under the hood, the Zeekr 8X is powered by a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system, with the engine delivering a maximum output of 205 kW. It is equipped with a 6C ultra-fast charging battery, the SEA AI digital chassis, and a 48V active anti-roll bar system. The vehicle is expected to launch in the first half of this year, with the top-trim variant potentially priced up to RMB 500,000.
