SAIC Volkswagen Unveils ID.ERA 9X: Range-Extended Large SUV with Over 400km Pure Electric Range

SAIC Volkswagen has officially released the official images of the ID.ERA 9X. Positioned as a large SUV, the new model features a range-extended powertrain combining a 1.5T engine (105 kW) with an electric motor, paired with a 65.2 kWh battery pack that delivers a CLTC pure-electric range exceeding 400 km. The exterior closely mirrors the ID.ERA concept car unveiled at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, blending Chinese and German design aesthetics. It features a full-width "Cosmic Light Wing" LED light bar and rectangular headlights at the front, while the side profile showcases the distinctive "Three Lines of Radiance" design for enhanced muscularity.
