Huawei Announces Harmony Intelligent Mobility's First MPV, Zhijie V9, Launching This Spring

Today, Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei, announced that the first MPV under the Harmony Intelligent Mobility (HIMA) brand—the Luxeed V9—will make its official debut this spring. Positioned as a "flagship masterpiece," the new vehicle boasts an imposing presence, exceptional spaciousness, top-tier safety, and extended range. It features a 7-seat layout with dimensions of 5,359 mm in length, 2,009 mm in width, and 1,859/1,879 mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm. The V9 is powered by a plug-in series-parallel hybrid system and will be offered with two battery options from CATL: ternary lithium and lithium iron phosphate. According to the latest announcement from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Luxeed V9 has completed its product filing. The vehicle will debut several cutting-edge technologies, including Huawei’s Qiankun Smart Driving hardware, a triple-screen cockpit setup plus the segment’s largest overhead display, second-row dual zero-gravity seats (capable of rotating 180 degrees), an onboard oxygen generator, and a constant-cool refrigerator. The V9 also emphasizes the strongest body structure and safety features in its MPV class.
