Genesis Global Sales Top 1.5 Million, G80 Becomes Best-Selling Model

Genesis, the luxury brand under South Korea's Hyundai Motor Group, recently announced that its cumulative global sales reached 1,510,368 units as of November 2025—achieving this milestone within ten years since the brand’s inception in 2015. The brand has seen steady sales growth: hitting 500,000 units in 2021, surpassing the one-million mark in 2023, and recording annual sales of 229,532 units in 2024. Among its models, the G80 sedan has stood out with over 501,000 units sold, becoming the brand’s first model to exceed 500,000 units in cumulative sales. In recent years, Genesis has accelerated its expansion into the European and Chinese markets and introduced electrified models such as the G80 EV and GV60 Magma, continuously enriching its product lineup to enhance its global competitiveness.
