Honda China recently released its full-year vehicle sales figures for 2025: total sales reached 645,345 units, a 24.28% year-over-year decline from the 852,269 units sold in 2024. Sales in December alone amounted to 66,765 units, plunging 40.32% compared to the same month in 2024. Previously, Honda China addressed rumors about "delayed factory resumption due to semiconductor shortages," stating that GAC Honda has made short-term adjustments to its production schedule for January 2026, taking into account factors such as chip supply and technical upgrades to production lines. The company emphasized that the impact of these adjustments is limited, the expected annual production loss remains manageable, customer deliveries will not be affected, and it will ensure the fulfillment of its annual production plan through appropriate scheduling.
