The Zeekr 8X has received final approval from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and is expected to launch in the first half of 2026, with a starting price of approximately RMB 400,000. Built on the SEA-S super hybrid electric architecture, the vehicle is positioned as a high-performance flagship SUV and will be offered in both five- and six-seat configurations. It measures 5,100 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,069 mm. Powering the Zeekr 8X is a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system featuring thermal efficiency exceeding 44%. The tri-motor variant delivers a combined output of 1,030 kW and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds, while the dual-motor version achieves the same sprint in 4.8 seconds. Two battery options are available—55.1 kWh and 70 kWh—offering a maximum CLTC pure-electric range of 380 km and a combined range exceeding 1,000 km. The vehicle supports 900V high-voltage fast charging, capable of adding 500 km of range in just 15 minutes. Standard across all trims are a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor, dual NVIDIA DRIVE Thor chips, and the SEA Intelligent Driving 2.0 system. Additional features include an AI-powered digital chassis, dual-chamber air suspension, and an intelligent anti-slip system. Key competitors include the Li Auto L9, Aito M8, and the long-wheelbase BMW X5L.
