Wuling Xingguang 560 Specs Revealed: All Four Trims Feature Independent Suspension, Launching Jan. 15

SAIC-GM-Wuling today unveiled four trim levels of its new “versatile, rugged, and spacious SUV,” the Wuling Xingguang 560, which will officially launch on January 15. The vehicle will be available in four variants: a 1.5T turbocharged gasoline model with either a manual or automatic transmission, a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) with 125 km of electric range, and a battery-electric vehicle (BEV) offering 500 km of range. All trims come standard with over 30 core features, including front and rear independent suspension (MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear), cornering-adaptive headlights, and more. The gasoline version is powered by a high-torque 1.5T engine delivering a peak torque of 290 N·m. The PHEV achieves a WLTC-rated fuel consumption of just 5.3 L/100 km under low-battery conditions and offers a combined driving range of up to 1,000 km. The BEV variant delivers a CLTC-rated range of 500 km and supports 2C fast charging as well as 220V external power output. Interior highlights include a 12.8-inch central touchscreen, smartphone connectivity, an electronic shift-by-wire system (on PHEV and BEV models), front seats that recline to a 180° flat position, and a maximum cargo capacity of 1,945 liters. Safety and intelligent features include a six-ring high-strength steel body structure, Shenlian batteries, automatic headlights, and Hill-Start Assist Control (HHC).
