Zeekr 8X PHEV Flagship SUV Unveiled in Burgundy, Embodying "Powerful Yet Elegant"

On January 9, Zeekr officially released official images of the new wine-red exterior of its all-new high-performance flagship SUV—the Zeekr 8X—under the theme “Powerful Elegance.” The vehicle features a front grille design dubbed “Flowing Momentum,” with body lines inspired by mountain ranges and rushing rivers. Its wide, low-slung rear end conveys an imposing presence without overt aggression. Measuring 5,100 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,069 mm, the Zeekr 8X falls into the mid-to-large SUV segment. Available features include a dark-finish logo, chrome or blacked-out trim accents, a digital rearview mirror, power-deployable running boards, a towing package, and an active grille shutter system, along with multiple wheel options. Powering the vehicle is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine developed by Aurora Bay Technology, delivering a maximum output of 205 kW. It is paired with a ternary lithium battery pack; however, specific motor and battery parameters have not yet been disclosed. The Zeekr 8X has already been included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 403rd batch of new vehicle announcements.
