Avatr 12 Teams Up with Huawei Qiankun: Smart Driving Upgraded, Starting at RMB 300,000

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently released the official application images of the new Avatr 12. This model will be the first co-developed vehicle among four new models jointly launched by Avatr and Huawei's Qiankun before 2026. The new car is expected to be priced between RMB 300,000 and 320,000. Its intelligent driving system has undergone a significant upgrade, featuring a roof-mounted sensor layout and is expected to incorporate Huawei’s latest LiDAR technology to enhance detection accuracy and range. In terms of powertrain, the vehicle will be available in three electric drive configurations: a range-extended dual-motor version with each motor delivering 200 kW, a pure electric dual-motor variant with each motor producing 251 kW, and a high-performance triple-motor setup (210 kW + 251 kW + 251 kW), catering to diverse performance requirements.
