Zeekr 8X Super Hybrid SUV Unveiled, Starting at ¥400,000, Launching in H1

Zeekr’s all-new mid-to-large SUV—the Zeekr 8X—has recently appeared in the MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) application catalog, accompanied by official images. Built on the SEA-S super hybrid electric architecture, the vehicle is positioned as a high-performance flagship plug-in hybrid SUV, with an expected price of around RMB 400,000 and a scheduled market launch in the first half of this year. The exterior design carries forward the styling language of the Zeekr 9X, featuring two front grille options—a chrome-finished and a black waterfall-style grille. The vehicle measures 5,100 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,069 mm. Its side profile features more dynamic lines, while the rear lights adopt a “Qiankun” (Heaven and Earth) design theme, replacing the previous split tailgate setup. Powering the Zeekr 8X is a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system, with the engine delivering a maximum output of 205 kW. It is highly likely that all trims will come standard with dual motors (front and rear). The SUV also features a closed-loop air suspension system and electromagnetic dampers. The top-tier variant may offer an optional 48V electronic anti-roll bar.
