A TikTok user named Em recently revealed that after her Nissan was broken into, she contacted GEICO to file a claim and arranged for a tow truck—only for the vehicle to mysteriously "disappear" during transit. According to her account, the car was initially towed to a nearby parking lot. GEICO then repeatedly changed the repair location before finally informing her it would be sent to a repair shop about 20 minutes away by car. However, after the New Year holiday, the repair shop said it never received the vehicle. Strangely, Em also received an alert from Nissan’s system indicating the car had triggered a towing alarm that same morning. To date, GEICO has been unable to provide any information on the vehicle’s whereabouts or locate prior communication records regarding its transfer. Legal experts note that if an insurance company arranges towing services, it bears responsibility for the vehicle’s safety. Em now finds herself in a difficult battle to seek recourse, and the incident continues to unfold.
