NVIDIA Unveils "Physical AI" Strategy at CES 2026, Propelling Autonomous Driving into a New Era of Inference-Driven Innovation

At CES 2026, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang introduced the concept of "Physical AI," emphasizing that AI must understand causality in the real world and be accountable for its actions. This marks a pivotal shift in autonomous driving—from perception-driven systems to a new architecture centered on "understanding + reasoning + decision-making." NVIDIA unveiled its next-generation Vera Rubin AI computing platform and enhanced its high-fidelity simulation system alongside foundational models for physical intelligence, establishing a full-stack solution spanning chips, simulation, models, and toolchains.
