Italian design firm Italdesign has recently unveiled the NSX Tribute special edition sports car, based on the second-generation Honda NSX and blending iconic design elements from multiple generations—including the original 1989 model and the 2005 NSX-R GT. The most distinctive features of the new car include a decklid-style rear spoiler, floating-ring-shaped brake lights, and integrated turn signals and reversing lights concealed within the spoiler. The roof-mounted air intake draws inspiration from the NSX-R GT race car, while the front end carries forward the sharp styling of the second-generation NSX Type S. A red Honda emblem pays homage to the Type R heritage, and the headlight “eyelid” covers are a nod to the pop-up headlights of the original NSX. The interior largely retains the standard NSX layout, with upholstery customized only to client specifications. Power is expected to come from the same 3.5L V6 twin-turbo hybrid system paired with three electric motors, delivering a combined output of approximately 427 kW and accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds—performance that rivals the Ferrari 296 GTB.
