Beijing Hyundai recently released its 2025 sales figures, reporting total annual sales of 210,015 new vehicles—a 14.8% year-over-year increase. Sales in the second half of the year surged by 58% compared to the same period last year, marking six consecutive months of positive domestic sales growth. Key models delivered strong performances: the Elantra sold over 60,000 units for the full year, with second-half sales soaring 85% year-over-year; the Custo maintained its position among the top five best-selling joint-venture MPVs, achieving a 75.3% annual sales increase and recording year-over-year growth for 11 consecutive months; and the Tucson L and Sonata saw their combined second-half sales jump 66% year-over-year. Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor Group surpassed 7.27 million units in global sales in 2025, securing its place among the world’s top three automakers in sales volume for the third consecutive year.
