Zeekr has officially released the official images of its new mid-to-large SUV, the 8X. Built on the SEA-S super hybrid electric architecture, the vehicle is positioned as a "super hybrid high-performance flagship SUV," with an expected price of around RMB 400,000 and a market launch scheduled for the first half of this year. In terms of design, the 8X carries forward the styling language of the 9X, featuring a waterfall-style front grille available in two versions—chrome and black—with the latter offering a more sporty appearance. The vehicle measures 5,100 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,069 mm—comparable to that of the BMW X5. Its side profile features more youthful and dynamic lines. At the rear, the traditional split tailgate ("Heaven-and-Earth" doors) has been eliminated, replaced by "Qiankun"-inspired taillights and a hidden rear wiper, resulting in a cleaner overall look. Powering the 8X is a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system, with the engine delivering a maximum output of 205 kW. It is highly likely that all trims will come standard with dual motors, complemented by a closed-loop air suspension and electromagnetic damping system.
