The all-new Xiaomi SU7 has officially opened for pre-orders, with the Standard, Pro, and Max trims priced at RMB 229,900, RMB 259,900, and RMB 309,900 respectively—marking an increase over the previous generation’s starting price. The key upgrade this time is that all variants now come standard with Xiaomi’s Super Motor V6s Plus, jointly supplied by United Automotive Electronic Systems (UAES) and Inovance. Xiaomi plans to gradually transition to its own in-house developed and manufactured version of this motor to enhance delivery efficiency. The V6s Plus motor delivers a 1.5% improvement in CLTC combined efficiency, achieved through segmented magnets, an optimized oil circuit, and an enhanced copper-clad structure, keeping low-temperature efficiency loss within 1%. It reaches a maximum speed of 22,000 rpm, boosts wheel-end torque to 850 N·m, and increases power output by 13 kW. Additionally, noise at high speeds has been effectively reduced through ramped injection molding and gear optimization. All three trim levels feature this motor, differing only slightly in peak power output.
