BYD Launches Seagull 05/06 DM-i with 210km Long-Range Variant, Starting at ¥89,800

On January 9, BYD Ocean Network launched new variants of the 2026 Seagull 05 DM-i and Seagull 06 DM-i Super Enjoyment Edition, both featuring an extended all-electric range of 210 km. The Seagull 05 DM-i now adds two new trims—the 210KM Deluxe and Flagship models—priced from RMB 89,800 to RMB 99,800. Meanwhile, the Seagull 06 DM-i Super Enjoyment Edition introduces the 210KM Premium and Flagship trims, priced between RMB 116,800 and RMB 126,800. Both models are equipped with BYD’s fifth-generation DM technology, delivering a combined driving range of up to 2,110 km and an ultra-low fuel consumption of just 2.79 L/100 km under low-battery conditions. They also come standard with the DiPilot 100 intelligent driving assistance system. Purchasers can enjoy benefits including zero down payment or zero-interest financing, trade-in subsidies, and lifetime warranty coverage for the vehicle’s three core electric components (battery, motor, and power electronics). Additionally, the Seagull 06 features premium amenities such as the Yun Nian-C intelligent suspension system, blowout stability control, and an onboard refrigerator, significantly enhancing the overall driving and riding experience.
