Arcfox Alpha S5 New Model Filing: Adds Range-Extended Version, Refreshed Front Design

According to the latest filing information released by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the updated Arcfox Alpha S5 has officially debuted, introducing a new range-extended variant and featuring revised exterior details. The front bumper no longer includes the black trim panel that previously connected to the headlights; instead, it adopts a "C"-shaped design to enhance front-end recognition. At the rear, the贯穿-style light bar continues, while the rear bumper features a more sporty design—though the current model’s front and rear bumpers remain available as optional choices. The vehicle measures 4,886 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,480 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm, reflecting a slight increase in overall length. In terms of powertrains, in addition to the existing all-electric variants offering 185 kW and 200 kW, a new range-extended version joins the lineup, combining a 1.5-liter range extender (77 kW) with a 200 kW drive motor. The current all-electric models are priced between RMB 127,800 and RMB 177,800.
