Volkswagen Anhui plans to fully expand its product lineup by 2026 and will launch three all-new models this year. In addition to the previously announced ID.7 electric sedan and ID.8 electric SUV, a new B-segment electric sedan will be introduced in the fourth quarter. The ID.7 is the first model co-developed by Volkswagen and XPeng based on the CEA (China Electric Architecture) electronic and electrical architecture. It measures 4,853 mm in length, 1,852 mm in width, and 1,566 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,826 mm. It is powered by a 170 kW electric motor and uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells supplied by Gotion High-Tech. The ID.8 is a mid-to-large-size SUV equipped with an 800V ultra-fast charging system, L2++ advanced driver-assistance features, and full-vehicle OTA update capability. It offers two battery options—82.368 kWh and 95.04 kWh—delivering a range of 630 km to 730 km (CLTC). Its electric motor delivers a maximum output of 230 kW.
