The Honda Accord has quietly exited the Vietnamese market, having been removed from Honda Vietnam’s official website product lineup and excluded from recent promotional campaigns. Although no formal announcement has been made by the company, multiple indicators suggest that its sales have been suspended. The primary reason is persistently weak sales—only 42 units were sold throughout 2025, averaging about three units per month, far below those of its main rival in the segment, the Toyota Camry. Compounding the issue are slow product updates—with no major upgrades since 2019—and a price tag exceeding 1.3 billion VND, making it uncompetitive in a local market increasingly favoring SUVs and electric vehicles. However, Honda may re-enter Vietnam with the new-generation Accord e:HEV hybrid model produced in Thailand, leveraging its more modern design and electrified technology to regain market share.
