The all-new Mercedes-Benz all-electric C-Class sedan was recently spotted undergoing road testing by overseas media outlet CarBuzz, with a market launch expected in 2026. The new model will no longer carry the EQ naming convention and ditches the rounded design language seen on models like the EQE, instead returning to the traditional three-box silhouette of the combustion-engine C-Class. Its front fascia features a tall, upright grille. Due to the electric platform’s layout, the hood sits higher, and the window line is noticeably lower than the hood. The extended C-pillar creates a fastback-like profile, though this may compromise trunk opening size and rear visibility. Fake full-width taillights were drawn onto snow covering the test car’s rear—indicating the actual taillights will be positioned higher. Built on Mercedes-Benz’s dedicated MB.EA electric vehicle architecture, the car will feature a 94 kWh battery pack and an 800V high-voltage electrical system, offering both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants, with an estimated range of up to 500 miles (approximately 800 kilometers). The interior is expected to adopt a panoramic MBUX display similar to that of the GLC.
