Changan Lumin Treasure Edition Adds New 205km Base Model at ¥46,900

Changan Automobile recently launched a new variant of its Lumin Treasure Edition—the "205km Pure Love Rice" version—with an official starting price of RMB 46,900. The new model retains the Lumin series’ cute design language but removes the floating roof and features wheel covers in a "Sticky Rice White" finish. Inside, the center infotainment screen has been downsized from 10.25 inches to 7 inches. Several interior features have been eliminated, including the passenger-side Easy-Entry function, glove compartment, center console storage bin, and multifunction steering wheel—leaving only cup holders and a document slot. Safety equipment has been significantly reduced: brake assist, traction control, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, auto hold, front passenger airbag, and rearview camera have all been removed. Additionally, the rear brakes have been downgraded from disc to drum type. Under the hood, the vehicle is powered by a 35 kW front-mounted electric motor delivering a peak torque of 85 N·m and a top speed of 101 km/h. It is equipped with a 17.65 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated range of 205 km.
