Recently, a Wuling Victory owner reported that their vehicle—purchased in November 2023 and driven approximately 60,000 kilometers—has experienced sudden power loss three times within just over two years while driving, accompanied by a "turtle" warning symbol on the dashboard. The dealership diagnosed the issue as a fault in either the motor controller or the drive motor. Related components have already been replaced twice, and the third occurrence now requires replacement of the drive motor. Although the vehicle remains under warranty, the owner has requested a refund or replacement. However, the dealership stated this does not meet the legal criteria for such action and instead offered free repairs, an extended warranty for the "three-electric" systems (battery, motor, and electronics) up to 9 years or 140,000 kilometers, an additional 1-year/20,000-kilometer extension on the whole-vehicle warranty, and partial cash compensation. The owner rejected this proposal and insists on a vehicle replacement. The dealership has already submitted a second request for a refund or replacement to the manufacturer, but no approval has been received yet.
