Toyota Motor Corporation recently announced a recall in the United States affecting approximately 162,000 Tundra and Tundra Hybrid pickup trucks due to a potential malfunction of the multimedia display. Under certain conditions, the screen may become stuck on a single camera view and fail to switch, or it may go completely black. This issue could impair the driver’s ability to observe the surrounding environment, increasing the risk of a collision. Toyota has not reported any accidents or injuries related to this defect. The affected vehicles primarily include certain Tundra models produced in recent years. Owners will be notified and can visit authorized dealers for a free software update to resolve the issue.
