On January 26, Porsche China CEO Michael Pan stated that the company is optimizing its dealer network in China, having reduced the number of dealerships from 150 to 114 in 2025, with a target to further cut it to 80 by 2026. Porsche emphasized that success will not be measured solely by sales volume; instead, the brand will focus on exclusive models and strengthen its R&D center in Shanghai. The company also plans to launch internal combustion engine (ICE) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) versions of its B- and D-segment SUVs by the end of this decade, with no current plans for local production in China. On the same day, Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) announced that cumulative deliveries of its Shangjie H5 midsize SUV have surpassed 30,000 units. The vehicle was launched in September 2025, with prices ranging from RMB 159,800 to RMB 199,800. Additionally, the flagship model developed through the partnership between SAIC-GM-Wuling and Huawei, the Huawei Jing S, has rolled off the production line as a pre-production prototype and is now entering the final preparation phase for mass production.
