Mazda has officially announced pricing for the 2026 MX-5 Miata. The base soft-top manual model starts at $31,665—just $600 more than the 2025 version. The Club and Grand Touring (GT) trims are priced at $35,165 and $36,965 respectively, each also increasing by $600. The GT trim offers an optional $920 six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. For the retractable fastback (RF) hardtop variants, the Club trim starts at $43,135 (including the Brembo/BBS/Recaro package), while the GT RF is priced at $39,685. All 2026 MX-5 models continue to use the 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G engine, producing 181 horsepower. The Miata remains the most affordable sports car on the market, undercutting the Toyota GR86 ($32,395) and Subaru BRZ ($37,055). Higher-trim GT models come equipped with adaptive headlights, radar cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, and heated leather seats. Even the entry-level Sport trim includes practical features such as an 8.8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and blind-spot monitoring.
