Recently, online rumors alleging that Guoyi Group was involved in a "solid-state battery scam" have drawn public attention. In response, a Guoyi New Energy battery R&D engineer known online as "If Not the Factory Director, Then What?" publicly clarified that the company is a legally operating high-tech enterprise focused on the research, development, and production of solid-state battery technology, with all its business activities conducted in full compliance with regulations. The engineer pointed out that the widely circulated image featuring a protest banner shows clear signs of digital manipulation and is either fabricated or maliciously altered. Emphasizing his direct involvement in the company's technical development, he affirmed that the company’s R&D progress is genuine and reliable. Guoyi expressed serious concern over the reputational damage caused by these false allegations and stated it reserves the right to pursue legal action. Nevertheless, some netizens continue to question the fact that the company’s legal representative has been listed as a discredited judgment defaulter, calling for further clarification from the company’s legal department. Guoyi New Energy primarily focuses on electric vehicles and eco-friendly transportation solutions and has already launched proprietary technologies such as a self-powered energy recovery system and in-house developed solid-state lithium batteries.
