Starting next month, BMW will roll out its new logo—originally introduced in 2020—on all newly launched models. The design first debuted on the iX3 in September last year. While retaining the brand’s iconic circular silhouette, the updated logo removes the inner chrome ring and adopts a flatter, more minimalist aesthetic, with subtle adjustments to color and texture. Additionally, beginning in February, BMW will introduce a refreshed badge specifically for its high-performance M models. Although specific details of this update have not yet been disclosed, it is expected to maintain a similarly understated style. Despite being labeled a “new logo” by the brand, the changes are so subtle that most consumers may hardly notice them. In fact, since 1997, BMW has only implemented a few minor visual refinements; notably, a black-and-white version was introduced in 2017 exclusively for its premium models.
