BMW has quietly raised the starting price of its second-generation iX3 in Europe before deliveries have even begun. When the vehicle debuted at the IAA Mobility show in September 2025, its starting price was €68,900; however, BMW’s German website configurator now lists it at €70,900—an increase of €2,000. Customers who have already placed orders will still receive their vehicles at the original price. The price hike likely reflects strong demand for the iX3 in Europe, with nearly all 2026 production capacity already sold out. To meet this demand, BMW has already added a second shift at its Debrecen plant in Hungary. Currently, the iX3 is only available as the 50 xDrive variant. It is expected to launch in the U.S. market this summer with a starting price of approximately $60,000. A more affordable rear-wheel-drive iX3 40 model will arrive in Europe later this year and reach North America in early 2027. Additionally, BMW plans to introduce an M Performance version—the iX3 M60—as well as a higher-performance all-electric X3 M variant.
