Xiaomi's SU7 Ultra, which previously achieved monthly sales exceeding 3,000 units, has recently seen a sharp decline in sales. According to data from platforms like Dongche Di, the vehicle sold only 45 units in December 2025—plummeting from its March peak of 3,101 units. Sales have dropped steeply month after month since September: 130 units in October, fewer than 100 in November, and a new low in December. Analysts note that as a high-performance all-electric sedan priced at RMB 529,900, the SU7 Ultra targets a niche market. Its initial sales surge was largely driven by concentrated purchases from Xiaomi fans and performance enthusiasts; once this pent-up demand was fulfilled, sales naturally settled back into the norms of its specialized segment. Despite the recent slump, the model still surpassed 10,000 units in total annual sales. Meanwhile, Xiaomi Auto as a whole delivered strong performance, achieving total sales of 412,000 vehicles in 2025, with the SU7 Standard and YU7 models continuing to sell well and helping the brand maintain a top-10 position among new energy vehicle manufacturers.
