Toyota is recalling 161,268 model-year 2024–2025 Tundra and Tundra Hybrid vehicles in the United States due to a potential issue where the rearview camera image may not display. The recall affects vehicles equipped with the Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) system and was disclosed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on January 31. The defect could prevent drivers from obtaining a clear view of the area behind the vehicle while reversing, increasing the risk of a collision. Toyota will repair or replace the affected components free of charge to eliminate the safety hazard.
