Xiaomi Auto recently restructured its sales organization, disbanding the "Ultra Master" sales team—originally established exclusively for the SU7 Ultra—in late January. Sales rights for this model are now open to all junior sales staff and supervisors, no longer restricted to a dedicated team. Previously, team members were required to have experience selling luxury or high-performance vehicles and operated under a "one car, one team" model, aiming to deliver premium, bespoke services comparable to ultra-luxury brands. The SU7 Ultra launched in February 2025 with a starting price of RMB 529,900 and achieved its target of 10,000 firm orders within just two hours of launch. With Xiaomi planning an intensive rollout of multiple new models in 2026—including a refreshed SU7, the SU7 L, the YU7 GT, and the "Kunlun" SUV series—the company’s move to consolidate sales resources and optimize staffing is a logical step. Some former team members have already left the company, while others have been reassigned to support sales of other vehicle models.
