Recently, the Xiaomi SU7 delivered an impressive performance in emergency braking tests on icy and snowy roads. Despite the low-traction, slippery conditions, the vehicle came to a smooth, controlled stop from 75 km/h without any tail-end skidding or loss of control. This stability stems from the deep integration of its ABS anti-lock braking system, ESC electronic stability control, regenerative torque control logic (RTCL), and electro-hydraulic cooperative braking system. During testing, the SU7 demonstrated smooth acceleration between 41–60 km/h and successfully executed an emergency evasive maneuver at 55 km/h. On mixed surfaces combining ice, snow, and asphalt, its electronic control systems made real-time adjustments to maintain stable vehicle posture. Moreover, in complex scenarios such as consecutive turns and landing after airborne jumps, the car exhibited precise trajectory control and excellent road-holding capability, significantly enhancing safety and driver confidence in winter driving conditions.
