Ford CEO Jim Farley recently praised Xiaomi's SU7 electric vehicle, stating that its technological sophistication surpasses that of many European luxury brands. He was particularly impressed by its facial recognition feature and noted that he has been driving the SU7 for the past six months, lauding both its performance and design. Previously, Joanna Stern, a tech columnist for The Wall Street Journal, also gave the SU7 high marks after a two-week test drive, saying it clearly demonstrates the advantages of a tech company entering the automotive industry. Although rumors have circulated about potential collaboration talks between Ford and Xiaomi, both companies have denied any plans for a joint venture. Currently, Xiaomi does not sell vehicles in the U.S. market nor is it engaged in related business negotiations there.
