Qijing Automotive is currently conducting winter testing of its first shooting brake coupe in extreme cold conditions at -40°C across three locations: Nogan Lake in Hulunbuir, Yakeshi, and Heihe. The vehicle will be equipped with Huawei’s XMC Qiankun Digital Chassis platform, featuring the industry’s first integrated six-in-one domain-fusion architecture paired with a tri-motor system to enable millisecond-level coordinated control across multiple systems. According to Liu Jiaming, CEO of Qijing Automotive, and Jin Yuzhi, CEO of Huawei’s Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, this chassis acts like a “super cerebellum,” rapidly detecting changes in road adhesion on icy and slippery surfaces and instantly suppressing wheel slip to stabilize the vehicle. The car also features Huawei’s Qiankun hardware for conditional Level 3 autonomous driving and is scheduled to launch in June this year, with detailed test reports to be released subsequently.
