According to the latest announcement from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the new AITO M9 from Harmony Intelligent Mobility has officially been filed for production. The vehicle features revised exterior details, most notably switching from flush-mounted door handles to conventional exposed ones, bringing its design closer to that of the upcoming尊界 S800. The new model sees a slight increase in dimensions, measuring 5,285 mm in length, 2,026 mm in width, and 1,845 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm—marginally larger than the current version. Powertrain options remain unchanged, offering both all-electric and range-extended variants. Both versions feature dual motors delivering 220 kW at the front and 277 kW at the rear. The range-extended model is equipped with a 1.5T range extender (118 kW), achieving a remarkably low WLTC fuel consumption of just 0.22 L/100 km. In terms of equipment, the new M9 introduces multiple new wheel designs, including sporty blacked-out multi-spoke and luxurious "solid-disc" styles. Optional features include electric running boards and a rear tow hook. Additionally, the updated M9 will be the first vehicle to debut Huawei’s next-generation Qiankun dual-path, image-grade LiDAR system.
