Great Wall Motor's new Tank 300 has officially appeared in the 405th batch of the "Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products." The updated model features significantly enhanced dimensions, measuring 4,886 mm in length, 1,984 mm in width, and 1,927 mm in height, with a wheelbase extended to 3,010 mm, giving it a more rugged appearance. Notably, the vehicle is equipped with a LiDAR sensor, which is expected to enhance its intelligent driver-assistance capabilities. In terms of powertrain, the new Tank 300 fully transitions to new energy propulsion, offering two plug-in hybrid variants: Hi4-T and Hi4-Z. Both versions are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine (185 kW) paired with ternary lithium batteries from SVOLT Energy Technology. The Hi4-T variant is positioned as a hardcore off-roader, featuring a non-decoupled structure, a body-on-frame chassis, and a mechanical four-wheel-drive system. In contrast, the Hi4-Z targets versatile off-road scenarios, equipped with an all-wheel-drive system and a single differential lock, balancing urban driving comfort with light off-road capability.
