Ahead of World Consumer Rights Day on March 15, the China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) has launched a special initiative titled “Standards as Your Shield, Transparent Consumption.” The campaign brings together over 40 member companies from the used car, auto parts, and vehicle inspection and appraisal sectors to publicly disclose their service standards and quality commitments. Participating enterprises span key segments of the industry—including used car trading, vehicle inspections, and auto parts sales. Used car dealers pledge to eliminate vehicles with major accident damage or flood exposure and to provide complete vehicle history reports. Inspection agencies commit to recording the entire inspection process on video to ensure objective and impartial results. Auto parts sellers guarantee full traceability and transparent quality for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or branded components. This initiative aims to enhance service standardization and transparency through robust industry standards, effectively safeguarding consumer rights and promoting high-quality development across the sector.
