On March 15, Lucid Group unveiled a new financial and product strategy aimed at accelerating its path to profitability and positive free cash flow. The company officially introduced its mass-market Midsize platform, which includes three models—the first two named Lucid Cosmos and Lucid Earth—with starting prices below $50,000. Additionally, Lucid launched its next-generation Atlas electric drive unit and revealed Lunar, a two-seat autonomous ride-hailing concept vehicle based on this platform. Furthermore, Lucid is finalizing a partnership agreement with Uber, planning to deploy vehicles from the Midsize platform at a scale similar to the Gravity autonomous taxi program, with gradual expansion of their application scope.
