Recently, Deepal Automobile Technology Co., Ltd.—a subsidiary of Changan Automobile—completed a business registration amendment, increasing its registered capital from approximately RMB 330 million to RMB 470 million, a rise of about 42%. New shareholders include Chongqing Yufu Holdings Group and China Merchants Bank Financial Asset Investment Company, which invested RMB 25 billion and RMB 5 billion respectively, acquiring stakes of 12.0934% and 2.4187%, making them the second- and third-largest shareholders. Changan Automobile remains the controlling shareholder with a 50.9959% stake. This capital increase was conducted through a public listing on a property rights exchange based on a valuation of RMB 14.55 billion for Deepal Automobile, ensuring compliance and transparency. The proceeds will be used for new vehicle development, core technological breakthroughs in intelligent and electric vehicle technologies, and global expansion, further strengthening Deepal’s competitiveness in the new energy vehicle market.
