Recently, a video circulating widely on Facebook showed a Honda Pilot lifted on a hoist in a repair shop, drawing a crowd of mechanics due to severe oil leakage. In the footage, engine oil had spread from the engine compartment all the way to the rear underside of the vehicle—far beyond the scope of a typical seepage. Normally, such an issue would immediately trigger a repair process, but instead, technicians halted their work and gathered around the vehicle, some even exclaiming in disbelief, “You ain’t lying!” According to the video’s poster, Sterworks, the leak was so severe that “oil trailed all the way to the back of the car,” disrupting the shop’s workflow. Industry insiders noted that problems like this rarely occur suddenly; they usually result from long-term neglect of minor issues that eventually worsen. While the exact cause of the failure has not yet been disclosed, the scene clearly highlighted the rarity and complexity of the problem.
