Geely Auto Sales Hit 270,194 Units in August, Up 8% Year-on-Year

Geely Automobile Holdings Limited announced on September 1, 2026, that its total vehicle sales in August 2026 reached 270,194 units, an increase of approximately 8% compared to the same period last year. By brand, Geely brand sold 216,186 vehicles in August, up 5% year-over-year; Lynk & Co sold 17,027 units, down 37% year-over-year; Zeekr sold 36,981 units, surging 110% year-over-year; and Proton sold 22,426 units, up 47% year-over-year. Cumulative sales from January to August 2026 totaled 1,943,313 units, an increase of 2% compared to the same period last year. By powertrain type, battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales in August reached 120,590 units, up 29% year-over-year, while plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) sales totaled 55,287 units, up 2% year-over-year. In terms of exports, overseas shipments in August amounted to 110,094 units, soaring 205% year-over-year. Cumulative exports from January to August reached 690,985 units, up 170% year-over-year.
