According to the latest announcement from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), BYD has officially launched a new automotive brand, "Linghui," targeting the B2B market. The brand's initial lineup includes four models: three all-electric sedans—Linghui e5, e7, and e9—and one plug-in hybrid MPV, the Linghui M9. Although these vehicles feature a new, independent logo, they are all based on existing BYD models, including the Xia, Han DM-i, Qin PLUS EV, and Sealion 07 EV. It is reported that the "Linghui" trademark was originally registered as early as 2010. This new brand consolidates BYD’s former e-series new energy vehicles previously managed under its corporate sales division and will establish an independent sales channel. The move aims to clearly differentiate BYD’s B2B and B2C product lines and support the company’s strategy to advance into the premium segment.
