Ford has officially unveiled the 2026 Mustang Shelby Super Snake, a limited-production model capped at just 300 units globally, designed to bridge the performance gap between the Dark Horse and the GTD. Powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine producing 830 horsepower, the Super Snake also offers an alternative naturally aspirated version rated at 480 horsepower. It is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission. Manual-transmission models feature a Shelby-branded spherical shift knob. Exterior enhancements include an aluminum hood, carbon fiber accents, enlarged cooling ducts, and new magnesium alloy wheels. The chassis, half-shafts, and wheel lug bolts have all been comprehensively reinforced for enhanced performance. The vehicle will be available in both coupe and convertible body styles. Buyers will also receive official Shelby registry certification.
