Volvo officially unveiled its all-new midsize electric SUV, the EX60, today. As the brand’s first model built on the dedicated SPA3 pure-electric platform, the EX60’s standout feature is its impressive range—up to 400 miles under EPA standards and 810 kilometers under WLTP standards. The vehicle is equipped with an 800V high-voltage architecture, supporting ultra-fast 400kW charging: just 17 minutes can add 173 miles of range, while in Europe, a 10-minute charge delivers an additional 340 kilometers. Design-wise, the EX60 follows the styling language of the EX90, featuring a minimalist cabin with a large central touchscreen and minimal physical buttons. It also marks Volvo’s first use of integrated die-casting technology to reduce weight and comes equipped with Volvo-developed electric motors and proprietary charging software. Positioned as the all-electric successor to the XC60, the EX60 is highly anticipated to accelerate the shift toward electric mobility for more consumers.
