The locally produced Tesla Model Y L, launched in China in August last year and entering deliveries in September, quickly saw its sales surge, with monthly deliveries surpassing 10,000 units in November. According to foreign media reports, the model has now received sales certification for the Australian market, bringing it one step closer to official exports. Although Tesla has not yet announced a specific launch date, this move indicates that the six-seat version of the Model Y, manufactured at the Shanghai Gigafactory, is poised to enter the Australian market. Additionally, the vehicle is also scheduled to debut in Europe in the first quarter of this year.
