Volvo has officially unveiled its all-new all-electric SUV, the EX60, built on the dedicated SPA3 electric vehicle platform and sharing no technical ties with the combustion-engine XC60. The EX60 will be offered in three powertrain variants, with the top-tier P12 AWD model delivering 670 horsepower and accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds. It features a 112 kWh battery pack, offering a maximum range of up to 400 miles (approximately 644 kilometers). All variants support fast charging, enabling a 173-mile range boost in just 10 minutes, and for the first time, the EX60 comes equipped with a native NACS connector, ensuring compatibility with Tesla’s Supercharger network. The EX60’s exterior design follows the styling language introduced by the EX90, achieving an impressively low drag coefficient of 0.26. Inside, the cabin adopts a minimalist aesthetic and debuts Google’s Gemini AI voice assistant, complemented by a premium 28-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system. The EX60 Cross Country off-road variant comes standard with all-wheel drive and features a 20-millimeter increase in ground clearance. Order books for the EX60 are now open in Europe, with deliveries in the U.S. market scheduled to begin in summer 2027.
