Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently revealed that the company plans to introduce its electric Semi truck to the European market in 2025. Previously, Tesla had already begun recruiting executives in Central and Eastern Europe to lead commercial sales of its megawatt-scale ultra-fast charging products—a critical infrastructure component required for the Semi. The Semi was first unveiled in 2017 and began deliveries in December 2022, with nearly 100 units delivered by the end of 2023. To support large-scale production, Tesla announced in January 2023 the construction of a dedicated factory in Nevada, which broke ground in Q1 2024 and is now largely complete. Musk stated that Tesla will commence high-volume production of the Semi this year, paving the way for its European launch.
