GAC Toyota’s flagship all-electric sedan, the bZ7, will officially launch on March 29 with a pre-sale price range of RMB 156,800 to RMB 209,800. The new model offers five trim levels, and the Max variant can be optionally equipped with a dual-chamber air suspension system—for a limited time, this upgrade costs only RMB 5,000, making the bZ7 the first joint-venture vehicle under RMB 200,000 to feature air suspension. Developed under the leadership of Toyota’s China team, the bZ7 is powered by Huawei’s DriveOne electric drive system and features a HarmonyOS intelligent cockpit. It also integrates into Xiaomi’s ecosystem and supports Momenta’s advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS). Exterior design highlights include a family-style front fascia and C-shaped贯穿 LED light bar, along with a roof-mounted LiDAR unit. The vehicle measures 5,130 mm in length, 1,965 mm in width, and 1,506 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,020 mm. Inside, the cabin features a large floating central display, a head-up display (HUD), Yamaha premium audio, and wireless charging for rear passengers. The bZ7 is available with two battery options: an 88.13 kWh pack offering a CLTC range of 700 km, and a 71.35 kWh pack delivering 600 km. The dual-motor version produces a maximum output of 207 kW and has a top speed of 180 km/h.
